Woollahra House Alteration + Addition
The house is a narrow 3.95m wide terrace. The project dissolves the cellular Victorian plan on the lower level to create a fluid living space that extends into the small garden, with a view to a borrowed landscape of trees in neighbouring gardens. White sculpted walls house the collections of books, CDs, cooking equipment and food. A more contained private bedroom zone is retained upstairs, with a stair that brings light in from the roof to the centre of the plan.
